Jack William Bell's Journal: Tap, tap, tap... Is this thing on?

OK, I haven't posted for a while. So shoot me. I have been dang busy. Hell, I haven't even had much time for UT.

For one thing I am working some truly insane hours. But I am being paid for the overtime, so it is worth it. For another I have been writing again! Working on a new short story and re-writing/workshopping an old one. Both are looking damn good and the critique group couldn't find much to pick on. Plus I am back to mapping out the humungous serial novel that I am thinking of putting on the Internet.

So, please don't feel that I have been neglecting you dear readers. It is just that I can only type so many words a day. I will try to post more steadily in the future...

Nah, blogging is about as close as you can come to a social activity without realtime chat or being in the same room with other people. Therefore bloggers talk all the time about blogging and some blogs are so self-referential I am surprised they don't crash with 'out of stack space' errors...

OTOH, talking in a movie is really irritating.
