The same goes for the base of MoveOn and DailyKOS None of the examples given so far in this thread speak of intellectual honesty and openness to debate. Not that I would expect it on Slashdot.

We actually have this in Finland, you have to have auto insurance to be allowed to drive.

So do we in the US. Most, if not all, states have a mandatory insurance requirement before license issuance or re-issuance.

We have this thing too, I think it's called universal health care.

We have this in the US too. No hospital is allowed to refuse treatment to anyone for lack of insurance.

Maybe you should ask Michael Moore.
