Because many of us - like it or not - develop on Windows platforms. F# works better with .NET than Ocaml does.

This works on any network segment, including wired.
How many people do you know that use Facebook, Amazon, etc. from their desks? Sure, your traffic could always be monitored by the PFY's in the data center, but now your pointy-haired boss has a tool that allows him to see what you've been buying.

Quoting: 'A unique game design competition aimed at teen violence prevention has announced its winners, revealing that Grace's Diary is taking home the top prize. The annual contest is sponsored by Jennifer Ann's Group, a non-profit organization focused on teen violence education and prevention since its founding in 2006. The "Life. Love. Game Design Contest" challenges entrants to design a game about the issue — without using violence itself.' The winning games are available to play online now."

The idea behind NASA's Composite Crew Module project is to test new structural materials for possible future NASA spacecraft. According to NASA, composite materials are being looked at because they are stiff and lightweight and can be formed into complex shapes that may be more structurally efficient. In space travel, where every additional pound of weight drives costs higher, any weight savings provides increased payload capacity and potentially reduces mission expense."
