I have seen the increase in men being hands on parents with the guys at work. More than half of them will take off work to take the kids to doctor appts, go to school funtions, chaperone field trips, etc. It is nice to know that it is not seen as less than manly to show emotions in regard to children and family.

Family comes first is growing more popular and should be encouraged. My work place does not penalize for family time off if advance notice is given and most of my co-workers accomodate the par
