The real concern here should be privacy and the burden of proof. Yes, courts have generally held that there is no reasonable expectation of privacy when you are in public. But there is a huge difference between being visible in public and having your movements continuously recorded, cataloged, retained and made searchable by law enforcement. No one signed up for that level of draconian surveillance. Worse, when these systems get something wrong, the burden seems to shift to the citizen to prove the machine was wrong rather than the government proving the citizen did something wrong. That should concern everyone, regardless of how accurate the cameras supposedly are.

The accepted dogma of so many 'scientific' explanations is hesitant to even accept that our knowledge and understanding may have evolved. What we once thought was true may not be. But established dogma digs in its heels... Look at COVID. The powers that be were unwilling to admit 'we do not know, yet,' and the narrative changed multiple times within the same week. That bred distrust and split people along political party lines. Science can be bought. Results can be skewed, fabricated.
