I agree, it seems way too big and unwieldy to go caving with. Especially for UK and Alpine caving. Something like the System Nicola cave radio would be better. It's small, lightweight and fits into a small peli case, making it perfect for caving and cave diving. Although, I'm not sure if they're in production yet.
