If you want to start hearing "We can't do that" go ahead and standardize on a tool. Better to standardize Processes, Methods and Practices than a toolset. Unfortunately this is usually so difficult and so contentious that few institutions rarely do it! The easier way is to say, "We'll just all use the same tool". Since all tools are a compromise, a single tool will promote mediocrity at the expense of innovation. When that happens you are dead money in the poker game of business.
