Their evidence proves Apple is currently carbon neutral on their watches now, and until at least 2029?

No. If the tree plantation does not survive to maturity, there is no carbon that has been "neutralized". Trees take time to grow and if the site is bulldozed and repurposed while the trees are still saplings, then nothing has been achieved.

Yes, and the court assumed without evidence that people buying "green" products expect a carbon neutrality scheme to be absolutely guaranteed for at least the next 25 years.

It wasn't an assumption. Carbon neutral programs that rely on tree plantations (and aren't just greenwashing scams) require guarantees that the trees will grow to maturity and wont be burnt down or bulldozed later on. If there are no or inadequate guarantees, then this might be just a greenwashing scam and Apple needs to get their shit together.

Yes because some other thing kills people we should ignore this one over here.

Hey, if you're going to whatabout foreign government disinformation with the border crisis,
Then Opportunist should be allowed to whatabout the border crisis with the Covid pandemic. Right?

Is that how it works really? We are only allowed to focus on one problem at once? We can't possibly deal with more than one issue at a time?
So let's just endlessly debate which one kills the most people and is theoretically the most important, rather than doing anything about any of it at all.

Canada decided that the deeply held beliefs of the few do not outweigh the detrimental effects that those deeply held beliefs will have on the health, safety and lives of the many. I cannot find fault with that logic.

Yet they decided just the opposite with regard to transgenderism. Logic seems to be situationally applicable depending on political ideology.

Not at all. These things are not the same.
Transgendered people (the few in your example), receiving gender affirming healthcare has no detrimental effect on the health, safety and lives of the rest of us. So why would we (the many), have a problem with them having the freedom to be able to see to their own medical and emotional needs?

Make sure you remember the movie correctly - the NTEs were on the verge of wiping out all humanity with giant tsunami before Bud won them over with "LOVE."

That was the special edition, where they (/he) added a bunch of crap to the story that turned the whole thing into nonsense. Unlike most James Cameron films, where the special editions are improvements (more of a good film is better), I think the shorter, theatrical edition of The Abyss is superior.

In the theatrical edition, as far as you can tell, the NTI's knew as much about humanity as we knew about them, and they were meeting us for the first time, completely unaware that their technology was causing such havoc with ours.

The special edition adds a bunch of stuff that shows they knew about us all along and were even monitoring our TV. That turns them into enormous dicks that willfully crash a nuclear sub, knowing full well what the consequences for the crew would be, and of course threaten all human life on Earth in retaliation for the actions of one mentally compromised individual. It casts them into a completely new light and I am glad I saw the theatrical edition first.

Rant over. :)

Well, when you are at the checkout at a store and they give you too much money back in change, you are under NO obligation to call it to their attention and give it back.

You still should, though.
Most companies count the tills at the beginning and end of each shift. If it comes up short, that's the responsibility of the cashier. You might think you've gotten lucky and got some free money from a big faceless corporation, but in fact, that money is coming out of the pocket of the often young, poorly trained and overworked staff-member standing in front of you.
