There's still a lot of OS/2 out there, but it's not well publicized. Lots of banks use OS/2 for check imaging. There are several large dispatch systems using OS/2...I believe LA City Fire is one. I dread my 911 calls going to Windows...gives "blue screen of death" a more sinister meaning.
Many aircraft also still have OS/2 passenger inflight control systems...when you push the button for light/fan/stewardess, you're using OS/2. The company which did this was BE Aerospace, although I think they have since converted their new systems to NT. But many older planes still use it.
Still a good desktop OS for many purposes. Have to close with THE quote:
