Everybody knows they ask for a phone number so they can tie an account to an identity with a first and last name, address and fico score. Nobody believes that it's for "security". So now I gotta borrow somebody's phone number to stay anonymous. And of course that's a bitch, because nobody wants to give their phone number to random strangers at Starbucks. Or maybe they do, but I shouldn't have to seduce a bitch just to make an anonymous gmail account.

So anybody here want to create a sign up for online accounts using each other's phone numbers ring?

Yes, you're right. That is socialism i.e. giving away perfectly good money to people that don't deserve it. Congratulations to him for throwing his money away. I.e. spending it. He's slightly less hypocritical than the NEET socialist at my local coffee shop.

Serious question: How do you "bridge the pay gap" without increasing the valuation of the female sex? How is it possible to pay women more because you think they're underpaid? If you pay them more, then aren't you tacitly admitting that you're seeing an increased value, and therefore paying for that increased value? And then if they have that value then they're not overpaid, because you're paying for that value. The value that you believe is there because you believe that the value isn't there.

Seriously. You white knight dipshits don't even realize the sexist fiasco you're walking right into. You might as well just say, "At our company we offer bonuses for feminine charm." I mean, I'm all for it. Let's hire a bunch of sexy chicks to hang around the office all day and give me pep talks. It's women's intrinsic biological nature that makes them more nurturing and social, and that is undervalued in our dog eat dog corporate environment where results matter more than employee happiness. Sometimes I just want a hug, ya know? Why can't we pay women to give us hugs?

This article is clearly so obviously thinly veiled socialist cheerleading. No, it's not reinventing capitalism to suggest paying employees better and providing a better work environment. That's what capitalism is SUPPOSED to do. It's supposed to find the maximally efficient distribution of resources. All of this bullshit this billionaire is engaging in, is exactly the opposite of that. I.e. socialism. I.e. spreading money around to undeserving idiots accomplishing jack shit so everyone can pat themselves on the back.

If I were a cynic, I'd say Marc Benioff is simply investing money into good public relations. You know, to build the intangible capital asset known as goodwill.

The fastest most dexterous mobile typists can just barely achieve a "blistering" 38 wpm. Meanwhile the "typical" computer typist does 52 wpm. How do those numbers "rival" each other? Fake news much?

The article even admits as much that mobile is typically 25% slower. Except that's for noobs. For anybody that can type, it's no comparison at all. Mobile is slow as molasses.
