Just a quick comment:

AOP is no longer a brand-new idea, nor was it developed entirely in an ivory tower. It has been developed over nearly ten years, by industrial and academic researchers and advanced development teams. The technology has now been shown to be extremely useful in a number of problems, and a number of variations are being developed. Tools exist to address the common code understanding questions many people have raised.
