Check out 1929-1940 in particular. Notice how the population surplus was higher then than it is now? And no economic conditions aren't worse today than they were during the Great Depression so fuck off with that rhetoric.
That doesn't seem like an improvement.
A serious country? Now I know you ain't serious.
I see your joke but actually moving waste to port via truck or train is a thorny issue. Nobody wants it moved on their roads or across their rails.
It's probably military/DoE waste from the 50s or 60s, or however long ago they were still able to ship large quantities of the stuff without getting NIMBYd.
Did Paramount's threat to leave Cali force this agreement to the table?
Paramount probably won't move as a condition of the settlement.
Trump and friends probably wanted the Netflix buyout of WB to happen instead.

It would make sense for Flock to have guarantees for weather damage or similar, but vandalism is a lae enforcement proposition. Flock definitely overextended themselves.
What kind of crackhead at Flock agreed to a contract obligating them to cover the cost of cameras lost to vandals?
If Flock is losing money, then presumably so will everyone else.
Battery fires produce a lot of contamination. Lithium ones do anyway.
If it's actually good, then lots of people.
Salaries in the gaming industry have been depressed for years in no small part due to the willing dupes who keep flooding the industry with low pay expectations. "That's my dream.job!" they say. Also the ones making less than $50k are probably QAs, at least the ones that haven't already been fired.
Maybe you can't buy happiness, but these days you can certainly charge it.
