There is still hard baked aggression in Microsoft Windows. It kindly offers to reformat my ext file systems each time it sees them. Like kill my Linux stuff - not coexist. All I have to do is accidentally be typing when the dialogue pops up and bingo. That isn't friendly, and I doubt it is accidental. There are more examples of this type of aggression, particularly in a dual boot environment. I do believe that many sectors in Microsoft are friendly, but the corporation doesn't deserve that credit until it stops some of these underhand practices.
