Okay - I wrote the stupid thing. And the whole sentence got mangled. There's a correction been posted on the IDG site but it hasn't got through to CNN yet.. Not MIT's fault - mine. D'oh.
Some people have a great ambition: to build something that will last, at least until they've finished building it.
