Comment sphere without AI (Score 1) 11

Is there at least one area left that AI has NOT touched? It feels like no. It’s being pushed literally everywhere, it’s just a new trend. No, I use it myself, but mainly for texts. Especially such as https://chatgpt.com/g/g-a0ULgFcuZ-essay-helper where they reworked them for academic needs. But it seems to me that there is no need to push this into absolutely all areas of life.

I have a feeling that their goals are to track any of your actions. I doubt that it will be accepted precisely in the spirit of the law. Most likely they will get around this with some condition. Like what they did with the collection of cookies on websites. While preparing the assignment through https://essays.edubirdie.com/law-assignment, I learned that the EU now has GDPR. But many sites simply force you to agree. It’s also not always clear what it is. And it’s as if you have already given consent to the collection of your data.

Comment no one can come up alternative (Score 1) 46

Unless no one can come up with a cheaper and more accessible alternative that is just as productive, chromebooks will continue to be used in schools. And this is unlikely to happen, because they are more than enough for powerpoint presentations and other basic school needs. Even when I got this from https://edubirdie.com/powerpoint-presentations-writing-service and then ran it on my chromebook, everything worked like a charm. They remain the best choice for students, and I think their position will only strengthen.

Comment Too weak (Score 1) 46

I have a feeling that everyone is just going crazy about these neural networks. It's like they're being shoved everywhere. Hey, folks, have you actually used them? In half the cases, it write complete nonsense, unsupported by anything, and even manipulate "facts" that don't exist. I tried using for my research and got complete nonsense. Living writers like https://edubirdie.com/research-proposal-writing-service write without plagiarism and coherently, based on facts and experience. Maybe over time, they'll learn, but for now, without human verification, they're nothing.

Comment Re:AI needs to be banned from Wikipedia right now! (Score 1) 100

Yes, indeed today ChatGPT can make a lot of articles and they will be posted on various forums. It scares me that other large corporations will develop similar technologies and in the future they will try to combine them. Right now I need to write some internship essays here for new company employees. But I don't know if it's necessary? There are studies that say that in the future ChatGPT will replace about 25% of jobs in the US and Europe. Does it make sense to open new internship programs? According to my observations in Linkedin, now quite a lot of employees with more than 3-4 years of experience cannot find a job. I am both scared and curious about what will happen in the near future.
