SUPER BOWL SHOW PROMPTS LAWSUIT SEEKING CLASS ACTION STATUS

Carlin alleges that she and others who watched the halftime show during Sunday's Super Bowl were injured by the performers' lewd actions when Timberlake ripped off part of Jackson's costume, exposing her breast.

In the lawsuit, Carlin charges that the exposure and "sexually explicit conduct" by other performers during the show injured viewers.

I totally agree. This is a new level of absurdity even for this county of nutty litigations. Remember the woman that sued McDonalds for some huge amount cause she did not have enough sense not to drive with hot coffee between her legs? If I remember correctly, she got a large settlement.

I think the case for the guy heading toward the kitchen who suddenly swings around to see the shot and then swings back again in revulsion is probably a better injury case.
