Comment Re:..isn't it illegal to not just straight up refu (Score 1) 57

Live Nation Entertainment’s latest is offer EXTREEMLY DECEPTIVE!!! The big problem is you cannot get a refund from a resold ticket because the ticket brokers enforce their refund policy legally through a linguistical distinction between “POSTPONED” and “CANCELLED”. POSTPONED does not address where most of their money is made or the largest amount of potential refund money is at, their resell companies. No word on those. A large amount of revenue is in their own ticket resell subsidiaries and 3rd party affiliates through ticket resell fees, many in violation of the BOTS Act of 2016. They are protecting these groups from requiring refunds, many their own subsidiaries! They need to classify these events as CANCELLED and stick by their refund policy. I read where Canada and US lawmakers were going to get involved. As information, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board owning about 5% and Canada Pension Plan owns about 4.75% of Live Nation Entertainment. Vanguard companies (heavy political contributors and lobbyist in USA) own a large part of Live Nation Entertainment. It brings to question just how far do you think Canada or USA is going to look into this? How do you think all that will work out for the people holding resold tickets!? A large amount of revenue from individuals using Live Nation Companies, some their own employees and venue employees, go unreported for Federal and State taxes, yet IRS sits doesn't move. Yep, this boiler room thug tactic CEO is making really making fools of everyone with impunity.
