discuss. and answer before reading others, if anyone actually responds ;o)

This is more or less random, with no distinct direction expected. Just had a conversation with a friend about one of her old teachers who claimed love was all psychological and didn't realy exist. Not that that is the point of my question, just more curious what people's thoughts are.

  • From a geeky perspective I'd say its psycho-chemical. It has to do with appearance/attractiveness, pheremones (sp?), and similar thinking/enjoying each others thoughts and ideas.

    Its one of those things you know when you are in it, but are clueless when you aren't.
  • it is shown that the feeling of love is caused by an emission of chemicals in the brain. The same chemicals can be released by eating chocolate, snorting coke, or dropping X.

    So, to me, love is nothing more than a dangerous addiction that makes your ass fat.
