So I am looking to do two different things and am unsure if free software exists for them
1. I need to break a 9 GB
2. I want to capture real player feeds into mpg so I can listen to stuff while driving over break. My current method seems to be to play real player to the line-out, cable that to line-in and use another app to capture that to
Is there anything that will remove the line in-out schtuff?

Just to warn you, if the original video is 9gigs, it will take a LONG time to load. I'd recommend loading the video and go
