The fact that Christians quote the Old Testament for proof of this is, in itself, crazy, because Jesus overturned the old laws. Besides, Paul was seriously conservative, and that reflected in his writings.

For myself, I like to look to the new testament for such things. Time and time again, I come back to the Gospel According to Matthew, 7, in which it is said, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
It seem so simple to me. Leave Heath Ledger alone, if he wants to Broke-butt Mount-Him, that's his business... it's not for us to judge. It doesn't hurt me - thus - it's for God to sort out
