Heh, this was about as romantic as when I proposed to my woman!
There we were, laying in bed, her complaining about not being engaged after going out for 5 years (and living together for 4). So I get annoyed, get up, go into the living room, write a date on a Post-It(tm) and hand it to her. No ring or anything!
Of course, she's expecting a nice big rock in the near future, so I have only won in the short term =/
