FacilitiesGuy writes: "An asteroid approximately the size of two and a half chinchillas impacted the Earth above Siberia, Russia, on Tuesday, according to the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA. The asteroid, temporarily designated C0WECP5, was first discovered by scientists at the the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona".

I hate pseudo-science like this. It MIGHT go to 19%, or it MIGHT go to 5% or not change at all, or we MIGHT be wiped out by an asteroid, nuclear war, a global pandemic, aliens from another galaxy or some other catastrophe of the week. In the '70s, it was the coming ice age. I might get hit by a falling airplane engine or struck by lightning or eaten by a shark. Call me when you KNOW something.
