  • lady cleo is looking fine these days.

loki has taken to sitting on that spot on my chair. he gets angry if i try to move around. he can't believe i have the nerve to nudge his preferred perch.

    i really like that picture.

Yep. She's still kissing your picture every evening. (It still floors me that she was so fond of you that evening...you should definitely feel honored.)

Me too. In a way it's a pity that BoE didn't have the flash on at that moment -- it was definitely a case of serendipity, because BoE only wanted to get a picture of Cleo parked on top of my chair, and Cleo yawned at just the right moment. So it's a bit blurry -- OTOH the blurriness also

  • Am I the only one who sticks a finger in the cat's mouth when she yawns? Is this some kind of weird mental disorder? I can't help it, I just love the weird look on her face when she gets that initial taste of my finger, probably like me yawning and then suddenly finding a sweatsock in my mouth.

If you smelled Cleo's breath when she's just eaten, you'd know not to be anywhere near her when she yawns [grantham.de] . ;-)

I am definitely in the market for kitty breath mints.

      Cheers,

They don't work. One of our cats has gingivitis out the ying yang (which I guess is slang for gums... go figure) and his breath is truly a harbinger of impending pestilence.

        awesome pic, btw.
    • No, you are not the only one that does that.

The downside of sticking my finger in the cat's mouth when they yawn is that BBB picked up that habit, and when I am unsuspecting, he does it to *me*.

      ^_^

      • Oh now thats not good. I think a severe biting is in order to remedy that! Or maybe step forward and gag on his finger and then make a big fuss about it and/or vomit on him :-)
    • ehh I've never done that but I often put my hand in my horse's mouth 'cause it freaks people out ;)
