Journal Ethelred Unraed's Journal: Spam subject lines 7

The latest (and unfortunately all too effective) tactic of spammers is to have their e-mails contain Subject lines with random words. This does, however, make for some...arresting...subjects.

Just had one called "still growing dodge duress".

I didn't know Dodge made an SUV called the "Duress". Though I suppose it would be somehow appropriate. Especially if it has to be grown.

...

I also initially mis-typed "spam" in the subject of this JE and typed "spasm" instead. Also somehow appropriate.

  • I'm bettin' those first two aren't random... maybe the last one too.... uhhh.

Heh heh... Dodge Duress... they could just rename the Ram. That piece of mechanical dog dump spend 90 percent of it's time in duress...

  • One arrived a few minutes ago with the subject "Squish pall" which somehow seems to tie into your discussion.

I still like the ones that say "Message Subject."

  • It was adressed to alikberov@willekens.lu. I just don't understand how it could be deliverd: there is no user alikberov on willekens.lu.

To be 100% sure, I even emailed that user on willekens.lu and I got a bounce. Very weird. How the fuck did they do that?

    This is the header:

  • I just got one that read "i love you." I don't think she (for the mail came from someone called Jennifer something) actually meant it, though, as she had CC-d the same email to seven other people.
