Google Maps has revealed something that the CIA must not know about.

The telltale puff of smoke right over my home was not, I repeat not, from a slight mishap with high explosives, I swear. It's a cloud. Honest!

I don't know about Hannover, but the images of several other places (including my home town/city) are reportedly a few years old. So i fear that you just blew your own cover :p

Actually, even within the US there are surprising gaps, such as this one [google.com], which is the neighborhood where I lived as a small child. What's particularly odd about it is that the town is home to Virginia Tech, one of the major universities for Internet development, so you'd think there would be more...
