Essentially that is dead on the mark.. add to it that companies like Google, Microsoft, and Salesforce (and others) are leveraging this capability to deliver both applications and services that leverage this technology. It's cool stuff, and really is the next "big thing" in the industry. Imagine having access to all your data and applications from any place, on any device, anytime. This is where we are heading technically..
