  • All my friends are hooked on Soul Calibur 2 right now.

Luckily, I sold my PS2 earlier this year, or I probably wouldn't shave, shower, eat, go to work or pee, It is *so* addicting.

      I just don't get Soul Calibur 2.

Streetfighter was easy to pick up and play: punch, kick, pull back to guard. I never really got into the Sega punch, kick, guard games (except Last Bronx which I played for a bit). But then came Tekken: that made sense. Left punch, right punch, left kick, right kick, pull back for guard. When you pressed one of the limbs, the fighter did what you'd expect someone to do to strike with that limb. When the enemy attack, yo
    • I don't have a PlayStation 2, but I do have SC2 for gamecube and I would agree. That game is very addicting. There is a hell of a lot stuff to unlock. It took me quite a long while to switch to another game.

Even so I stlll have not unlocked/beaten everything in that game. SC2 really is a great game.

Oh yeah, to keep this on topic sorta, GET SOUL CALIBUR 2. You'll enjoy it... Assuming of course that you like fighting type games.

Apparantly I can only play games with acronyms.
  • It has pretty good story lines and goals that help you increase your trick abilities.
I rented it for a weekend then bought it the next.
  • didn't play anything for a while, and now i'm on Vice City.
  • Final Fantasy X
    Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance

All the other games I have are just played from time to time. I played GTA3 for a while, but I prefer it on PC. I don't have Vice City for the PS2, but I have been playing it a lot on PC lately. Anyone knows how to do the "The Driver" mission. I'm stuck on that one....

I love this shit. I can't stop playing it, even though I've been through about 95% of the game... and I'm just hoping someone got me Jak II

I love the silliness of it, and the fact that the graphics and game play action is about as good as I've ever seen it.

    • here here.

The first one was GRROooooOVY. rented it, and got 90-some-% the way through in 3 days. Super fun.

Penny Arcade tells me that Jak 2 is even fresher. The only reason I'm not getting it? I still haven't done ANYTHING in Vice City and I haven't even finished LIBERTY CITY! (but I do have fun flying that plane into down-town from across the water... ESP when I can land!) And I haven't even played Gran Turismo A-spec, and haven't played that other covert game where you bust in on the ship... wtf was th

Absolutely. I've had my PS2 for some time now, and I'm still playing GT3. Currently trying to get all my licenses sorted out. I've got gold on nearly all of them now. Some are easier than others... Other than that, I'm still plodding my way through the game. I've got another 3 or 4 series to win before I've got the lot.

In terms of other games, there can be only one: SSX3. Buy it. If you haven't already got it, get SSX Tricky, too. You should be able t

  • i play the games i have a lot. SSX tricky, soul calibur 2, and DDRMAX2. they're all pretty good games. i hear SSX 3 is even better.

yeah, i only have 3 games, but i've only had the PS2 for 4 months and i'm still mostly a PC gamer.
  • Can't get enough of that game. The replay value is infiniate due to the sheer number of cars and courses to play on.
  • I got an Intellivision [classicgaming.com].

Someday I hope to own an Atari 7800.

Maze-a-Tron [intvfunhouse.com] was really fun until I actually figured out how to play it. It was just weird until I actually read the instructions.

    Utopia [digitpress.com] is suprisingly addictive.
  • True Crime, Dead to rights, SSX3, Rachet and clank.

I haven't actually played any of these they just look cool. Amplitude is pretty cool.

Help! I'm trapped in a PDP 11/70!
