It is because using Smalltalk does not makes you productive per se. You need to learn to think in objects, beacuse you can use Smalltalk as any scripting language or hybrids like Python. Then you make no difference at all. It will be the same crap with different syntactic sugar. "What makes or breaks a language is its libraries" No. Think about Delphi. Tons of libs, nobody using it now. Or even C. Is not in the libraries, it's in the mind of the programmer!!
