If progressive web apps were enough no one would bother creating native apps. The first limitation here is that any web page has to be accessed through Appleâ(TM)s restrictive âoeWebKitâ browser technology. Well considering how well the switch has taken off and how many 3rd party developers are jumping on board the switch can be considered amazing. It's essentially a portable home console which can be easily projected into a bigger screen which is something that can't be claimed by anyone else. This is extremely tempting for anyone who sells games since the switch basically has created its own, separate market which is unique to only the switch which means that people are willing to repurchase games on it that they already own. So yes the games are amazing but so is the switch.

But honestly. I actually don't mind this model too much. Although I do believe that such apps and sites should try to be smart about it and attempt to back off if a borrowed CPU is being overloaded.
