The real problem is that speed laws do not match the current science of what is safe and what is not. It has been shown it is safer to drive 5 MPH faster than the flow of traffic than it is to drive 5 MPH slower. Well, that and we have no need to encourage law enforcement to harass more people and that is does add the the surveillance state.

Why is it that the government didn't test this before they auctioned off the spectrum? Did the FAA not know about the spectrum auction? Did the FCC not let the FAA know about the spectrum auction? Why did these concerns come up so late? Did the radar altimeter manufactures not do any testing before the auction? This seems like a lot of players here let the ball drop for this to come up all at the last minute before the spectrum was supposed to be put into use.

So, I was talking to a doctor yesterday and was told that 8 weeks between initial vaccine doses was ideal, and what is happening in Europe right now. He also said that the FDA was expected to approve boosters for 40 years old and above within the next month or so. He said he had just gotten off a briefing call, so this should be fairly reliable information. He also commented on how ridiculous the rest of the world sees the USA, given that most of them are doing these things already. Our regulation of vaccines is must tighter than the rest of the world. My concern is that they may not be considering the effects of just getting COVID-19. From what I have read about a 33% of those who get COVID-19 have long term negative effects, even if their case isn't severe. So, if a booster shot prevents this, isn't it worth while? I think this has more to do with WHO being upset about more vaccines not getting to poorer countries. While I agree with WHO, this is a problem; it shouldn't effect the boards thinking; there are better was to deal with the other issue.
