I used to run a dual boot Ubuntu and Win XP. The problem is my better video card is ATI, but Ubuntu it ran like hell. My 128 PCI nvidia ran better than the AGP 256 ATI. But when gaming in windows, I needed the AGP card. So on my last re-install I just did XP.
I fell out of the loop with all sorts of life issues and am now looking back at Ubuntu with wanting eyes. Is the ATI support better now? Is there a list of problem ATI cards vs Working ATI cards that you know of?
