For trademarks one of the claims people can make is that you are "passing off" i.e. pretending to be that company or in some how related to that company. Yes, this definately works, I had a book that once lasted for an 8 hour flight and then intermittant use for the rest of the week. It did not quite make it all the way through the flight on the way back though. This was with the default settings that came with the book!

I have some old Sinclair Spectrum "backups" on audio tape, not sure if they can still be read though. All of the other tape formats I've used have become obsolete in a couple of years so I can see how tape is good for short term corporate DR but not really for longer term of making sure essential photos etc don't get lost.
