I think this is a wonderful idea, on a flat rate plan at least. I would pay happily, and more importantly, End Users, will pay happily. And thats really what this is all about. They aren't trying to get the tech savy; die hard, all things should be open source crowd(us). To pay for the abuility to dl content. Because we have proven, with DeCSS, Gnutella, and orignialy with Napster, that we will find ways around something if we want to. And for the most part, it stays in our circle. (Not to totaly true, but for the most part.) They are trying to get the End Users of the world. Build this thing, put a few hundred million in marketing behind it (pocket change to a company of this size), and boom. They have a viable workable buisness model that will reach the masses. and they will make money off it. If you build it, people will come.
