I don't understand the concern. This is almost exactly what happened in Delaware this past election. A crazy won, and the democrat, who might've otherwise lost, ended up winning by a landslide. The main difference is that it's the democrats initiating the process rather than letting it happen organically.

The pilot was shot for just $6,000, raised through the micro-funding platform Kickstarter, and the production is being supported through donations on the show's website. Donations can be made on a sliding scale with 'bonus' rewards for each level, such as an MP3 of the opening theme and deleted scenes. The show is being distributed through file-sharing systems such as BitTorrent and LimeWire thanks to VODO, the group that also helped produce it. Is this the future of television?"

I'm not a Linux graybeard by any means. I installed Ubuntu back on July 4, and I can honestly say that I haven't booted into Windows in almost two weeks. I haven't needed or wanted to. (I spend most of my time playing with the LAMP stack.)

YouTube works fine, as does every other Flash site I visit. I had an issue the first time, did a GIS for a solution, did whatever it said, and I've been fine ever since. No browser crashes or anything, and this is 64 bit Linux. Was it as easy as it is in Windows? No. But it wasn't terribly hard, either.

A new study provides some of the first evidence that albatrosses in the North Pacific may be affected by environmental contamination. Alterations in the immune function of the black-footed albatross were associated with elevated blood levels of nonpoint source contaminants. Non-point source pollution comes from a wide variety of sources such as farms, cars, roads and highways, and lawns. This kind of pollution is ubiquitous and can pose a significant threat to wildlife.
