DiscountBorg(TM) writes: An employee of the Canada Revenue Agency lost his job yesterday after releasing a lo fi humorous game in which the player answers calls for the Agency, usually leading to his termination. While the employer refuses to provide additional details on the situation, the dismissal seems to have had an unintended effect including coverage on Kotaku.

Submission + - Study links GMO corn with organ failure in rats (huffingtonpost.com)

DiscountBorg(TM) writes: Although Monsanto's own studies found no adverse effects from the consumption of their genetically modified corn, their studies were limited to effects found over a period of 90 days of consumption. A recent study published in the International Journal of Biological Sciences analyzes long-term effects in rats and found a link to liver and kidney failure, along with effects on the heart and spleen, amidst other things. Monsanto disagrees with their findings.
