My three-year-old has cancer. Last December we did - get this - a stem cell harvest - before she underwent her final chemo treatment. they gave her this $400 per dose medicine that put her bone marrow in super hyper drive to make more than normal then hooked her up to this cool machine that pulled them out. 3 months later we fed them back to her. this is nothing new and replaces the old fashion bone marrow transplants.
