No! Mrs Peel was one character. In the TV series only Diana Rigg was ever Emma Peel. All these other actresses played different characters. Emma Peel wasn't like in Dr Who you know (one character, different actors)! Early in the Avengers series there wasn't even a female lead. Purdey (Joanna Lumley) was in the New Avengers not the original Avengers. Although another interesting tidbit she was in OHMSS, the James Bond film where Diana Rigg played Mrs James Bond (briefly). Which leads me onto did anyway see that episode of That 70s Show where they had several other old Bond girls turn up along with Midge? Where was I? Oh yeah, you got the rest right though :)
