The fact that they did do the math may be precisely why they're allowing it. It'll have very little effect on the amount of light or heat added to the illuminated area. More or less a full moon's worth of light and no essential effect on the local temperature.

I do wonder how far he could take it, like could he do a Bananaman movie where the whole basis of the character and villains is parody, or is there a limit to it? Certainly the movies that have set out to be funny, like Shazam, have been fairly uninspiring.
Can you imagine an Ambush Bug movie? And the main villain is Argh!Yle? Or a movie based on the Heckler? So many possibilities exist, yet here we go with another variation of Superman and Batman...

I think you raise a valid point. In the world of IT, we're accustomed to the logical and obvious nature of everything. Since we don't think of the subconscious or unintended results of areas such as design, we tend to forget that it still has an effect on the users.

I own a "dumb" phone. I also own three desktop computers and a laptop. I figure the primary use for any cell phone is to make calls, and if I need to make sure I'm connected to the Internet while I'm away from home, I have either my laptop or any other number of possibilities (i.e., local library, Internet cafe, friends' computers, etc.) to get connected. I use my cell phone to make calls, because that's what it's primary use is.
