Well, I would like to share your sentiments about the demise of the good ole 3.5 FDD, but..there are many digital cameras that use them, and I for one am one of those peeps...The current drive that is in my computer wasd initially installed in my '95 pieces and parts 486sx computer new then and has never failed to work, regardless of O/S(MS/DR-DOS 5.xx-6.xx, Windows 3.31(WTF..lol)/95/98/XP-Pro)and now still functioning perfectly after 8 yrs of service in my 2.0ghz Athalon(I also have 3 spares, just incase)..I for one say, maybe make them a $25 option(milk us that still need them)..I have almost 300 of the lil buggers loaded to the max with jpeg's(ok maybe I will finally find time to dump em to the HD and burn to CDR, but that won't be until I get a new digi-cam with micro drive)...What else are those old AOHell floppys good for(free film for my camera)?? -=ô;ö=-
