Couldn't care less about popularity. My daughter has one of the (if not the) most popular name for her birth year, and my son is probably the only one with that name for that year.

Right click the start button instead. That context menu is pretty much the same on Windows 10 too. And Windows 8.1, which is where that habit started for me (start menu was basically gone). Not sure about 8.0. Works on Windows Server versions too (at least 2012 R2 +)

Had a close call once near Albuquerque in a small single engine aircraft. 6000 ft elevation, about 105, early afternoon, barely took off. Possibly due to engine performance issues. Took forever to climb, really scary!
