There is a condition called Vasovagal syncope, which can result in fainting from injections. I should know, I've had it all my life and my daughter has it too. It's not a "fear" thing, it's a physical reaction and I'm told by nurses it's far more common than I believed. Earlier in life I was ashamed of this thing, now I confidently just go up to injections, tell the nurse I'm prone to it, and voila they always have a bed to lie down on during a shot (which for some reason often prevents it). If this is as common as the nurses tell me, and people avoid their vaccines because of it, they truly are pussies.

Comment My reasons for using FF are simple: it works. (Score 1) 408

It actually works for every site/https device I point it at. This is not the case for any other web browser, including Chrome. Chrome pissed me off years ago when it decided to become so strict with TLS that it decided to protect me by taking away the "Yeah, I fucking get it, go there anyway" button. I've encountered so many things in the IT admin space that Chrome messes up, and Firefox has always been super reliable in actually working as a web browser. Additional features and customization is always nice, but at the very core of it I need my browser to work.
