Polls are highly inacurate. Your using a set of questions who would give you a set of predetermined answers.
You can-t trust the numbres. So what if 60% of americans don-t know squat about science, you can-t prove it. More important is the fact that even if such ignorance exsists then what are they going to do about it? A program to give science to the masses won-t give fruits until years later.
Even if I am being a bit cincal it still is sad to see such ignorance or worst yet, indifference to it alltogeter.
