I take offense to this, as do all of my friends who are guys. I'm a 'geek girl' and I can't think of any time that I've talked to a guy about any of the above subjects (feelings, relationships, gossip, and other Oprah Winfrey-esque subjects). Well, unless they've initiated it, and even then I try to keep the conversation short and sweet (I really don't like talking about those kind of things myself...they're boring and uninteresting to me). If a guy thinks that's all I want to talk about and those are the only things he talks about with me, I either try to steer conversation to more interesting things (as I have much broader interests than just computers) or I stop talking to him. Just because you've had a few bad expereinces with women in your time doesn't mean you should generalize, stereotype and demean all females like that...you'll miss all the good ones that way.
