Journal Journal: In my day New England winters were a lot colder 3

I it just me, am I the only one. I miss my wool overcoat. Long and grey with a collar that would flip up and scratch my neckhairs. I could wear it open and it would bookend my sides like a pair of quotations. It made a statement wearing that coat. It said I'm a man who's not afraid of winter.

Now however thanks to global warming I haven't worn it in several years. I haven't needed it. Boston has such mild winters now. I usually only go out wearing a sweater to protect me from the cold.

We've ruined our planet, haven't we?
