Strong female leads, letâ(TM)s see, Diana prince from Wonder Woman, Alita from Battle Angel Alita, those are two fairly recent movies with great female leads that are written well that do not put down others just to try and make the women seem better than the other people.

Frankly you are probably right about them not caring about us. But you know what if they are not going to produce a movie Iâ(TM)m interested in, or if they are going to shit on their customers base, then I will just sit back and not give them my money.

Except that is wrong, look at how the movie Wonder Woman did. That was a great movie, with a great actress playing a well thought out character, that has a very well written heroâ(TM)s journey. So no it is not that people donâ(TM)t want a female super hero that are just not happy with how this one is being done. In the same way that the Hollywood narrative people hating on the new starwars movie is because people hate the idea of a female lead, when it is not that it is the female lead and the other characters in the movie were not well written, not presented in such a way that made the majority of the fans happy. People donâ(TM)t want 1 dimensional characters, they donâ(TM)t want Mary Sues or Gary stues. But that is what a lot of movies are trying to push on us. Then you have good movies and character development like in Battle Angel Alita. Where the characters while rushed in places feels more real, where the characters have a lot of depth and emotions. Even the opening pre movie publicity stunts are night and day. Captain marvel says we want to limit cos white men at our screening and bring in the crippled black woman. While Battle Angel Alita works with some prosthetic limbs companies and make some prosthetic limbs for some lucky people and bring them to the premiere with their new Battle Angel Alita inspired prosthetic limbs. One claims to be a champion for social justice, the other one doesnâ(TM)t claim to champion anything, but instead shows their beliefs by their actions.

A lot of people got upset for various reasons from how the main actress acted to the way that the movie seems to be pushing an ideological message. A lot of people are tired of this, especially after the way that people pushing ideological messages in other movies like the all female ghostbusters and the new starwars moviesmade bad movies, then when called out on the movies not being up to the fanâ(TM)s standards the companies and the actresses started attacking the fans. Saying he fans donâ(TM)t like what they are doing because they donâ(TM)t like strong female characters.... Then you have movies like Wonder Woman, and Battle Angel Alita come out that comepletely destroys that narrative, not even counting all the classic movies that have strong female leads that came out during the time that the original movies came out of starwars and ghostbusters, like aliens, terminator, Jurassic Park, just to name a few. Those are Iconic strong female characters, who are well writte. Just like Battle Angel Alita and Diana Prince.
