Oh do get a life. He's a highly respected academic, having worked for years in the UK and US. These lectures were broadcast on Radio 4 about a month ago, and believe me, his accent is what the BBC calls "RP" - Received Pronounciation.
I don't suppose you'd pass muster, would you?
