Comment Responsibility (Score 1) 15

The developers and marketers of any defective software that allowed hackers to gain access should be held criminally and legally responsible. This would result in the use of tighter code and safer programming practices. In virtually any other market defective products are recalled with reimbursement and the purchasers of these products have legal resources to recover their losses.

Sounds like the hardware companies want to be the only ones to have access to everyone's data. They can combine your data with the data of others, file exclusive patents on the combined work that none of the individuals would warrant on their own thereby cementing their rule of their individual realms and domains.

Excuse my rant, please. These internet giants have gotten so used to freely using and abusing the data that citizens have to pay for that they forget that it isn't their data to use. Most people don't have access to truly "unlimited" data yet these companies flood you with ads either as pop-ups or built into their sites, burden you with constant updates to their "proprietary" software, that is mostly to allow them to access even more of the last bits of private information you have left. Among many other abuses. Literally burning through yottabytes of other people's data allotments. Now they are building private networks using data stolen from other people. Perpetuated by devices they don't own. Without the permission, concent, or even the knowledge of their victims. Since it is so nefarious and hard to trace I would ask the Court grant relief by having Amazon pay the owner of any IOT appliance, blue tooth or wifi device a minimum of $10 a day per device, as compensation for data that has been or may be stolen. What did they expect? They portray him as an obese drunkard, now as a flaming gaytard. Definitely not the movie a majority of parents are willing to pay for their children to see. Disney has lost sight of who the majority of their audience are. If they continue down this path they won't be having many more blockbusters.

How would it be possible, between the sheer number of 20 candidates for every Federal, State, and Local office, to even view almost 3 1/2 hours of video for each and ever office? Besides just not being at all a "workable" solution, we can't even get a majority of eligible citizens to even take 10 minutes to push a button and vote.
