Nobody even mentioned Quicktime or Real, and I can't imagine anyone would want to use them. I think a lot of people would prefer quality stuff, like BSPlayer and VideoLAN.
It appears that PL/I (and its dialects) is, or will be, the most widely used higher level language for systems programming. -- J. Sammet
