HAHA, I remember the same debate raging between the Blizzard and Cavedog forums back in 97 before either game was even released, I guess it's been a slow 7 years for RTS. Is it just me or was 97-98 the golden age of pc gaming (half-life/TA-SC/Everquest/Baldur's Gate), seems like those are still the most popular in their respective genres (of course most of them have received serious upgrades, they're basically the same). For the record, Total Annihilation is the best RTS ever.
