Journal Cybeh's Journal: Microsoft does it again

Now Internet Explorer 7 has been launched with so much fanfare talking about all the security it will provide to the users, it was not too late since another zero day exploit information was released, the advisory has been resealed by Secunia http://secunia.com/advisories/22687/ . When Vista was also affected by the wmf bug not long ago, it changed my thinking that Microsoft have been writing it all from scratch, which is obviously not the case as proved. Now with this zero day which is already being exploited leaves millions of computers vulnerable and a simple study of the flaw reveals that it is extremely critical and can be exploited on fully patched systems. To the worst Microsoft has been running away from the responsibility asking the users to contact FBI which is ridiculous in my opinion. God help those millions of innocent users who will or already falling prey to this flaw. Cyber
